"Documentary film respects the world as it is much more than a feature film; it just revises it to take the viewer for a journey."
Howard Feinstein, Selector of the Sarajevo Film Festival Panorama Documentary

DIAGONALE 2005 – Festival of Austrian Film

(Graz and Vienna, January 14, 2005)
The Diagonale 2005 will be celebrated in Graz from March 14th through the 20th. Produced for
the first time under the joint direction of Birgit Flos (Program), Robert Buchschwenter (Production)
and Georg Tillner (Finance), the DIAGONALE team in Graz and Vienna is composed of dedicated
staff members both old and new.

This festival in Graz in March is the highlight of the DIAGONALE year.

Along with our standard presentation of current films and movies for TV, the DIAGONALE 2005 will
once again show a comprehensive yet selective program of films and videos of every genre and
length: short and avant-garde films – in recent years produced more and more on video – as well
as full-length documentary work and feature films.
